Transactional Analysis 101

Understanding the Patterns That Shape Your Relationships

Have you ever noticed how certain patterns repeat in your life?

You may find yourself wondering:

– Why do I react so strongly in some situations?
– Why do certain conversations escalate even when I don’t intend them to?
– Why do similar conflicts appear in different relationships?
– Why do I sometimes feel stuck in roles I don’t want to play?

Transactional Analysis (TA) offers a powerful framework for understanding these patterns and creating new choices.

TA 101 is the internationally recognised introductory course in Transactional Analysis and the first step for anyone interested in learning this influential psychological model.

This immersive 4-week certification program, starting from May 4th, from 9 am to noon Eastern Time, is designed to help you build deeper self-awareness, transform limiting beliefs, and create healthier relationship patterns in both personal and professional spaces.

About Transactional Analysis

Transactional Analysis, often called TA, is a powerful and refreshingly practical way of understanding how we think, feel, communicate, and connect. Developed by psychiatrist Eric Berne, TA looks at the everyday exchanges we have with others, the “transactions” that shape our relationships. It introduces a simple yet insightful model of three ego states: Parent, Adult, and Child. These are not about age, but about the different parts of us that show up in conversations. Once you begin to notice which part is speaking and which part is responding, everyday interactions start to make a lot more sense.

TA also explores the deeper patterns we unconsciously create, sometimes called life scripts, that influence our choices, relationships, and reactions. The beauty of TA lies in its clarity. It gives you a language to understand yourself and others without blame, while offering practical tools to change unhelpful patterns. Whether used in therapy, education, leadership, or personal growth, TA makes self-awareness engaging, empowering, and surprisingly transformative.

Transactional Analysis helps you understand:

– Why you think, feel, and behave the way you do
– How your early experiences shape present patterns
– How to improve communication and resolve conflict
– How to break free from repetitive, self-defeating cycles

This foundational course introduces core TA concepts in an engaging, experiential format that combines theory with reflection and practical exercises.
